Who else loves chocolate? I have so many favorite chocolate recipes, but there is just something about brownies. There really aren’t many desserts better than a thick, fudgy brownie served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Am I right? The only thing that makes brownies better is adding something delicious to them. Like Cadbury mini eggs.
Ingredients
- ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ cup chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°. Lightly grease the bottom of a baking pan and line it with parchment paper. Set it aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and then allow it to cool for a few minutes.
- Then add in the cocoa powder and sugar. Whisk until combined.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and salt and mix until the eggs are just incorporated.
- Slowly add in the flour and baking powder, mixing until thoroughly combined.
- Fold in half of the chopped Cadbury mini eggs.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining chopped Cadbury mini eggs on top.
- Transfer the baking pan to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Allow the brownies to completely cool in the pan before cutting them into squares and serving.
