Condensed milk snails are simple and delicious biscuits. It is a particular dough, as it provides condensed milk in the dough instead of sugar and a part of butter, which in fact is very little. The result of which is crumbly and delicate biscuits, absolutely delicious to serve for breakfast!
Ingredients
- 250 g of flour
- 170 g of condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 50 g of butter
- 1/2 sachet of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- powdered sugar to decorate
Instructions
- Put the flour together with the baking powder in a bowl and pour in the centre: egg, butter cut into chunks, vanilla and condensed milk.
- Mix everything until you have a homogeneous mixture, then cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
- Take the dough, divide it into 20 pieces, then form the biscuits: make a long thin string from each piece, then roll it up to form a snail.
- Continue like this, forming all the biscuits on the pan covered in parchment paper, spacing them a little apart.
- Then cook at 170°C for about 15 minutes or until they start to brown, in a preheated convection oven.
- The condensed milk snails are ready: if you succeed, at least let them cool down before sprinkling them with powdered sugar and eating them.
