Here’s a recipe for Soft and Fluffy Milk Bread Buns that you can try at home:

### Ingredients:

For the Dough:
– 3 ½ cups (440g) all-purpose flour
– 1 cup (240ml) whole milk, warmed
– ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
– 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) instant yeast
– 1 teaspoon salt
– ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, softened
– 1 large egg

For the Egg Wash:
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 tablespoon milk

### Instructions:

1. Activate the Yeast:
– In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle the instant yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

2. Mix the Dough:
– In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, softened butter, and egg. Mix until a dough begins to form.

3. Knead the Dough:
– Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. You can also use a stand mixer with a dough hook for this step.

4. First Rise:
– Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

5. Shape the Buns:
– Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each bun.

6. Second Rise:
– Cover the shaped buns with a kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes, or until they have puffed up.

7. Preheat the Oven:
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

8. Egg Wash:
– In a small bowl, mix the beaten egg with the tablespoon of milk. Brush the mixture over the tops of the buns for a golden finish.

9. Bake:
– Bake the buns in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.

10. Cool:
– Remove the buns from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature!

### Tips:
– For extra softness, you can add a tablespoon of milk powder to the flour.
– These buns can be stored in an airtight container for a few days or frozen for longer storage.

Enjoy your baking!
