Orange donut without butter and milk ! Here is the cake par excellence for winter breakfasts and afternoons. Rich in orange, the soft and fragrant ones that inebriate the house for hours.
Ingredients
- 250 g of flour
- 60 g of almond flour
- 3 medium eggs
- 180 g of granulated sugar
- 130 ml peanut or sunflower seed oil
- 130 ml of orange juice
- grated orange peel
- 1 sweet sachet (16 g)
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar and grated orange peel until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the orange juice and then the oil slowly, continuing to whisk.
- Add the flour, almond flour and sifted yeast.In several stages and without dismantling the mixture.
- Add the pinch of salt and mix.
- Pour the mixture into an oiled or if you prefer buttered donut mold of 22 max 24 cm with high edges and cook in a static oven preheated to 180° for about 50-60 minutes.
- Check and test with a toothpick during the last minutes of cooking. If dry it is ready.
- Remove from the oven, let the donut cool and add icing sugar to the surface.
