Baked potatoes rolled in bacon are a delicious side dish that can be prepared in just a few minutes.
Cut the potatoes into wedges, bread them in a mix of parmesan, spices and herbs and roll them in a slice of bacon which will become nice and crunchy when cooked in the oven, creating a truly delicious crust.
They are perfect as finger food, an aperitif and also to be enjoyed in front of the television during an evening with friends.
Ingredients
- 6 potatoes, medium
- 100 g parmesan, grated
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- oregano to taste
- to taste thyme
- to taste marjoram, (or aromatic herbs of your choice)
- a teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 200g bacon, sliced
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into not too thin wedges.
- In a large bowl, pour the parmesan with the breadcrumbs, all the aromatic herbs and spices you prefer, season with salt and pepper and mix well.
- Sread the potato wedges in the parmesan mix then wrap them in bacon.
- Line the oven tray with baking paper and place all the potato wedges.
- Cook in a hot oven at 190° for about 35 minutes until the potatoes are cooked and golden.
