Cake Mix Cherry Muffins


These are moist and fluffy cherry-studded muffins made using vanilla cake mix. These easy cherry muffins are ready in 30 minutes.


  • 18¼ oz vanilla cake mix, (1 package), or any cake mix
  • 12 oz cherries, canned, preferably unsweetened
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  •  cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  •  cup milk


  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line your muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl until a batter mixture is formed.
  3. Fill up your lined muffin tin until ¾’s full, then tap to remove any excess air.
  4. Bake for roughly 25 minutes or until the muffins are lightly browned and a cake tester comes out clean.
  5. Allow your muffins to cool at room temperature while still in the muffin tin.
  6. Remove from the tin and serve.
