We love all varieties of pie, but the ones that don’t require any baking are the best. Only a few minutes of prep time and then a few hours of chill time and the pie is ready to serve. No bake pies can be made ahead of time, making them so easy to take to parties and other special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups vanilla wafers finely crushed
- 6 tablespoons salted butter melted
- 8 oz package cream cheese softened to room temperature
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip) divided
- 2 cups chopped Twix candy bars
- chocolate sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Mix the vanilla wafer crumbs and melted butter in a medium mixing bowl until well combined.
- Firmly press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Chill the crust in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
- In a large bowl with an electric or hand mixer, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, caramel sauce, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
- Gently fold in half of the whipped topping until just combined.
- Stir half of the chopped Twix bars into the pie filling.
- Pour the mixture into your prepared pie crust and smooth out the top with a spatula or frosting knife.
- Spread the leftover whipped topping across the top of the pie filling.
- Sprinkle the remaining chopped Twix bars over the top of the pie to garnish.
- Refrigerate for 2-4 hours, or overnight before serving to firm up. Slice and serve with chocolate drizzle if desired.
