### Ingredients:
– 2 ripe bananas, mashed
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 large egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
– 1 cup oats (optional)
– 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional)
### Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
4. Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. If you’re using oats, chocolate chips, or nuts, fold them in at this stage.
5. Scoop the Dough: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked, but they will firm up as they cool.
7. Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
### Enjoy!
