Ingredients
- 1 Whole tilapia scaled and gutted
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Thyme
- ½ teaspoon Onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Blackpepper
- ¼ teaspoon Coriander seeds powder optional
- 1 teaspoon Ginger and garlic paste
- 2 teaspoon Chilli sauce or any hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon Parsley dried
- 3 tablespoon Olive oil any cooking oil
- Some lemon slices lemon balm, or lemon grass
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except the lemon slices and stir well.
- Pat dry the fish with a paper towel and make deep diagonal cuts on both sides of the fish. Pat dry again.
- Using your hand or brush, generously rub the marinade on both sides of the fish and inside the belly, ensuring it goes deep into the slits.
- Put the lemon slices or lemon balm inside the belly of the fish.
- Put fish on the lined baking sheet and put it inside the oven.
- Bake at 400℉ for 20-30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fish.
- Fish should reach an internal temperature of 145℉. Or test with a fork for flakiness.
- Remove from the oven and let it sit for about 3 minutes, then serve.
