There is nothing difficult about making shortbread cookies at home. Household members will not even immediately believe that the housewife baked such beautiful products herself. According to this recipe, they will come out as crumbly as in the store.
Ingredients
- flour – 320 g,
- powdered sugar – 100 g,
- vegetable oil – 80 g,
- butter – 120 g,
- eggs – 1 pc.,
- baking powder – 1 tsp,
- cocoa – 1 tbsp. l.,
- a pinch of salt,
- a pinch of vanilla.
Instructions
- Mix butter and vegetable oil, as well as powdered sugar, vanilla and salt in one bowl. When the mass becomes homogeneous, add the egg. Then add baking powder and start adding flour in parts.
- Divide the finished dough into two equal parts. Transfer one of the halves to another bowl and mix with cocoa. Add another tablespoon of flour to the vanilla mixture.
- Roll both balls into thin rectangular layers. Using a regular fork, create striking stripes. Press out square cookies from the dough using a cookie cutter, and then transfer the products to a baking sheet lined with parchment.
- Bake the pieces in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. The hot dessert can already be served, but it will be even tastier to make a layer of chocolate paste or condensed milk. Just place the filling between two cookies
