I love waking up early in the morning, and preparing myself a cup of coffee and delicious breakfast food. It’s the best way to start my day! It gives me the energy I need to finish all my tasks. Recently, I learned about this Swirl Crepes recipe . I tried it at home and was amazed at how good it turned out. This is so easy to make and only needs a few ingredients from your pantry.
For the dough
- 200 g T55 or T45 flour
- 1 soy yogurt (100g)
- 430 g water
- 1 tbsp brown sugar optional
For the cocoa version
- 50 g unsweetened cocoa
- 50 g water
Instructions
- Mix the flour and soy yogurt. Gradually add the water then the sugar (optional).
- Separate 150g of this paste and put it in a separate bowl. In this bowl, add the cocoa and water. Pour this cocoa paste into a sauce bottle.
- Heat a non-stick pan. When it is hot, draw a spiral with the cocoa paste. Wait for this paste to cook a little. When its base is cooked but it is still a little liquid, you can add the “normal” crepe batter on top by the ladle.
- Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute for the crepe to come away from the edges, then turn over, leave for another 30 seconds and move on to the next crepe
