Classic donut 


The classic donut recipe includes simple ingredients: It is a cake with only eggs, sugar, flour and yeast. My version is without butter , I also find it more practical and quicker to prepare, the result is a simple donut, very soft for several days, suitable for both breakfast and a snack!


  • 350 g flour
  • 230 ml whole milk
  • 4 eggs ( medium )
  • 180 granulated sugar
  • 120 ml peanut seed oil or sunflower
  • 1 sachet baking powder for desserts (16 g)
  • 1 pinch salt


  1. Whip the eggs with the sugar
  2. Add the grated lemon peel
  3. Combine the oil and milk
  4. Then add the sifted 00 flour and yeast
  5. Lastly, the salt
  6. Pour into a Chiffon cake mold and cook in the preheated, static oven at 180 for about 40-50 minutes
  7. Cooking times vary from oven to oven, always do the toothpick test before taking out of the oven
  8. Once the cooking time has elapsed, let it cool before enjoying it
