The classic donut recipe includes simple ingredients: It is a cake with only eggs, sugar, flour and yeast. My version is without butter , I also find it more practical and quicker to prepare, the result is a simple donut, very soft for several days, suitable for both breakfast and a snack!
Ingredients
- 350 g flour
- 230 ml whole milk
- 4 eggs ( medium )
- 180 granulated sugar
- 120 ml peanut seed oil or sunflower
- 1 sachet baking powder for desserts (16 g)
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Whip the eggs with the sugar
- Add the grated lemon peel
- Combine the oil and milk
- Then add the sifted 00 flour and yeast
- Lastly, the salt
- Pour into a Chiffon cake mold and cook in the preheated, static oven at 180 for about 40-50 minutes
- Cooking times vary from oven to oven, always do the toothpick test before taking out of the oven
- Once the cooking time has elapsed, let it cool before enjoying it
