Here’s a simple and delicious Guacamole recipe that’s fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. Perfect for dipping, spreading, or topping your favorite dishes!


Ingredients (Serves 4-6)

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup (60g) finely diced red onion
  • 1-2 jalapeños (seeded and finely diced, adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup (10g) fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 large tomato (seeded and diced)
  • Optional: 1 clove garlic (minced)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Avocados

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until you reach your desired consistency (smooth or chunky).

2. Add Flavor

  1. Add the lime juice, salt, and black pepper to the mashed avocado. Mix well.
  2. Stir in the diced red onion, jalapeños, cilantro, and tomato. If using garlic, add it now.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt, lime juice, or jalapeño as needed.

3. Serve

  1. Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl.
  2. For extra freshness, garnish with additional cilantro or a slice of lime.
  3. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, tacos, or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

Tips

  • Use ripe avocados for the best texture and flavor. They should yield slightly when pressed.
  • To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole or add an extra squeeze of lime juice before storing.
  • For a smoother guacamole, blend the ingredients in a food processor.
