A vibrant, refreshing blend of sweet mango and tangy strawberries swirled into a frosty slushie—perfect for hot days or poolside sipping!

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

  • 1½ cups (240g) fresh mango chunks (about 2 medium mangoes)
  • 1½ cups (225g) fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 3 cups ice cubes
  • 2–3 tbsp honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime or lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
  • Splash of water or coconut water (if needed for blending)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt (for creaminess)
  • Fresh mint or lime slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep Fruit:
    • Freeze mango and strawberry chunks for 30–60 minutes for a thicker texture (optional but recommended).
  2. Blend Each Layer Separately:
    • Mango Layer: In a blender, combine 1½ cups mango, 1½ cups ice, 1 tbsp honey, and ½ tbsp lime juice. Blend until smooth. Add a splash of water if too thick. Pour into a pitcher or bowl.
    • Strawberry Layer: Rinse blender, then blend 1½ cups strawberries, remaining 1½ cups ice, 1 tbsp honey, and ½ tbsp lime juice until smooth.
  3. Swirl & Serve:
    • Alternately pour mango and strawberry mixtures into glasses, layering them. Use a spoon or knife to gently swirl the two flavors together.
    • Top with fresh strawberry slices, mango chunks, or mint leaves.
  4. Serve Immediately with reusable straws or spoons!

Tips

  • Frozen Fruit Hack: Use 2 cups frozen mango and strawberries instead of fresh + ice.
  • Sugar-Free Option: Skip honey if fruits are ripe and sweet.
  • Adult Upgrade: Add a splash of rum or tequila for a boozy slushie!
  • Too Thick? Add a bit of coconut water or juice to blend smoothly.

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be frozen (re-blend before serving).
