This soft and fluffy vanilla flavoured cake tastes best with hot tea in the evening.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup of sugar
- ¼ cup + 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Slowly add sugar while beating the eggs
- Into it add the melted butter and vanilla essence
- Mix well
- Sift the all-purpose flour and baking powder
- Add the dry ingredients into the egg mixture
- Add 2 tbsp milk as well
- Fold well into a soft batter
- Pour the batter into a cake tin that is greased with butter
- Bake for 35-40 minutes at 170 degree Celsius
- Allow the cake to rest for 5 minutes before taking it.
