Churros suddenly make you want to eat them. It’s easy to make at home, so feel free to make it and eat it whenever you feel like it. Feel like a theme park at home.
Ingredients
- Water 160g
- Unsalted Butter 60g
- Fine granulated sugar 5g
- Salt 0.5g
- Soft flour 50g
- Strong flour 50g
- Egg 100g
- Appropriate amount of oil
Topping sugar
- Granulated sugar 30g
- Cinnamon Powder 1g (optional)
Instructions
- Add water, butter, granulated sugar, and salt to a pot.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- While keeping the heat on medium-high, add the sifted flour all at once and mix immediately with a whisk.
- Once it forms a lump, mix for another 30 seconds.
- Turn off the heat, transfer to a bowl, add half of the eggs, and mix with a rubber spatula.
- Mix in the remaining eggs in two batches.
- Transfer to a piping bag and pipe while the dough is still warm.
- Press the cut baking sheet with your hands or place a weight on it to prevent it from moving.*Do not squeeze while pressing the sheet, as one side will be crushed.
- Place the baking sheet on a spatula in oil at 170℃.*If you put it in by hand, the dough will curve, so put it on something as flat as possible before adding it to the oil.
- After about 30 seconds, remove the baking sheet.
- Flip halfway through and fry until both sides are golden brown.
- Place in a vat and drain the oil.
- For topping sugar:Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon and spread thinly on a vat.
- Sprinkle the topping sugar while it’s still warm and it’s done!
