Simple honey cake


Moist, succulent, utterly delicious honey cake.


  • Light flour or all-purpose flour 200g
  • baking powder 5g
  • salt 1g
  • honey 160g
  • butter 150g
  • sugar 50g
  • egg 2


  1. Put butter+sugar+honey in a pot and melt on low flame
  2. When the ingredients are melted and the edges start to boil, boil for about 1 more minute.
  3. Once the ingredients are melted, they will quickly rise, so don’t leave the place. Boil everything and then
    let it cool for 20 minutes.
  4. Beat 2 eggs.If the eggs are small,use 3 eggs, weighing 70-80g each.
  5. Sift baking powder + all-purpose flour or cake flour + salt .If you want a lighter texture,
    use cake flour.
  6. Apply melted butter to the circular mold.Before using the mold, you must apply melted butter or iron plate release agent to ensure that
    the mold can be used for a long time.
  7. After 20 minutes, add eggs to the cooled butter and mix.
  8. Then add the sifted flour and mix.Overmixing makes the cake harder.Mix just until no powder is visible.
  9. Pour the batter into the mold.
  10. Hit the floor 2-3 times to remove air and bake in an oven preheated to 160 degrees for 40 minutes.
  11. Since each oven has different specifications,please adjust the time based on the baking color on the top.
  12. Apply honey that has been heated in a microwave for about 20 seconds.
