Potato Patties


Mashed potato patties are a fast, easy-to-make clever way to use leftover mashed potatoes. That said, you don’t need to use leftovers – you can make mashed potatoes from scratch whenever you feel like whipping up a batch of potato patties. With a crispy outside and fluffy, soft inside, potato cakes are savory and delicious, thanks to the addition of ingredients like cheese and spring onions.


  • 10 potatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 40g (1/3 cup) corn flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 100g mozzarella cheese, shredded


  1. Cook potatoes in salted boiling water.
  2. Clean and mash it, and mix in eggs, corn flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fill with mozzarella cheese and fry in hot oil until golden.
