Cookies stuffed with Nutella are delicious biscuits with a crunchy pastry that envelops a soft and super tasty filling. They are loved not only by children but also by adults.Try them and tell me if they are not irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 330 g flour
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 medium egg
  • 130 g butter
  • 60 g chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 200 g approximately Nutella or other spreadable hazelnut cream

Instructions

  1. Place the Nutella on a sheet of baking paper with a teaspoon and form flattened balls. Form about 22 balls, as many as the biscuits. Cover with another sheet of baking paper and put in the freezer for at least 2 hours. This way the Nutella will remain softer even after cooking.
  2. In a bowl, place the butter cut into cubes and the sugar. Mix by rubbing between your hands. Add the egg and mix this too.
  3. Gradually add the flour, a pinch of salt and then the yeast. Mix and then add the chocolate chips. Work well, making sure the chocolate chips are well combined with the shortcrust pastry until you obtain a smooth dough.
  4. Wrap in cling film and place in the fridge for an hour.
  5. Place the dough on a floured surface. Cover with another sheet of baking paper and roll out with a rolling pin.
  6. Cut out circles with a glass or a round cutter. Place the frozen Nutella inside and cover with another disk of shortcrust pastry. Seal the edges well.
  7. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper, spacing them apart. Turn on the preheated static oven at 180°C and bake the cookies for about 20 minutes until they are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool and enjoy the delicious Nutella-filled Cookies.
