Butter biscuits with jam and chocolate

They are soft and crumbly, so much so that they melt in your mouth. The dimples then leave a wide choice of flavors because you can choose your favorite filling. The best for me? With orange marmalade and black cherry jam because they are less sweet.

Ingredients

  • 100 g of flour
  • 130 g of finely chopped hazelnuts or almonds
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 60 g of granulated sugar
  • 90-100 g of soft butter
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the hazelnuts or almonds in a mixer or Thermomix together with a spoonful of sugar for a few seconds
  2. In a bowl, add the egg yolks and sugar and mix with a fork
  3. Add the flour, the hazelnuts reduced to flour and finally the butter cut into cubes and softened at room temperature
  4. Mix with your hands until you obtain a dough
  5. Take the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes
  6. Once the resting time is over, form many balls of 20 g each and place them on baking paper
  7. Press well in the center of each ball and cook in a static oven at 180° for about 20 minutes
  8. Once the cooking time has passed, let it cool slightly and add your favorite jam and spreadable cream to the center
  9. And sprinkle the surface with icing sugar if desired
