Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie


This pumpkin pie protein smoothie has the perfect creamy texture and features our favorite fall flavors like pumpkin, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spices.


  • 1/2 cup sliced frozen banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 tbsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed


  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream and additional ground cinnamon (optional).

  • To get your pumpkin pie protein smoothie to the perfect smooth texture, you need something high-powered
  •  Instead of prepared pumpkin pie spice, I just added some cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and vanilla.
  • The ground flax seeds not only add a healthy dose of omega-3 but also help thicken the smoothie. You could add ground chia seeds for the same effect.
